Remi Swan entered a number of items at the Texas State Fair last summer. She won a 1st Place Ribbon, a 2nd Place Ribbon, a 3rd Place Ribbon and received Honorable Mention for three items. All six winners were on display at the State Fair and her name was noted.
Her picture of the large crucifix outside Chafin Hall at Canterbury Episcopal School received an "Honorable Mention."
A small bowl with an orange flower won 1st place in the "underglaze" category.
